- Map:
We have set up a map with MapsOnUs to give people a better idea of the layout of the Denver/Boulder area. Follow this link and enter the password "Spider" to see it.
- Airport:
Regarding Denver International Airport: Despite the horror stories you've probably heard, it's really not that bad. Most the people in Denver that are whining about it have never been to, say, O'Hare or Dulles. The major airline out of DIA is United. They have their own *concourse*, one out of three. The cheapest, though, appears to usually be Northwest or Frontier, if you're served by one of them. Other major airline presences include American, TWA, and Delta. Their Web page is http://www.flydenver.com for anyone who wants more info.
There is excellent bus service from there to most of the Denver/Metro area -- pretty much true for this area in general. As a rule, you can get between any two points in a 30-mile radius (not diameter!) without walking more than six or eight blocks at most.
- RHPS:
The Rocky Horror Picture Show plays at 11:59 p.m. every Saturday at the Esquire Theater in downtown Denver. Regular admission is $7; tickets are also sold in books of 5 for $25, and students can get in for $4 each. Parking is apparently fairly easy to find. Anyone who wants to help "take over" the theater that Saturday night should come in costume of some sort--preferably related to RHPS, but anything out of the ordinary and somewhat blatant is fine--and those who haven't been to the show in a while or at all might wish to check out some of the fine audience participation scripts available at archive.rhps.org and elsewhere. We want to be as noisy as possible!
- Cellphones:
Those who are planning to bring cellphones should know that Denver and Boulder are fully covered by Sprint and AT&T digital PCS, and most likely by other cellular plans as well. If you can add to this list, please email Rose.
