Hot-tub excursion to Fort Collins Cost: $8? (NOTE: We're waiting for final details from Big Al. At this point it sounds as if folks who want to go tubbing, including those who can provide vehicular transport, should gather in the hotel lobby around 8:30 or so to figure out who's riding with whom. If this falls through, the hotel evidently has a hot tub, too...) |

The Great Outdoors We've come all the way to the Rockies - let's take some time to enjoy it! Game plan: Choose up vehicles, grab some portable food and drive ... somewhere ... for hiking, picnicking and possible star-gazing. Bring water, sunscreen and a sweater or jacket if we stay after dark! Other adventures as the mood arises |

Der Fleidermaus' Haus MapBlast on-line map and driving directions from the hotel Directions from Die Fleidermaus: Go west on I-70 to Wadsworth. Get off on the Wadworth exit and take the right hand exit which will be about one 1/2 a mile after you get off I-70. Immedietly get to the left hand lane and get into the laft hand turn lane very quickly after that.which will be the first light after getting onto Wadsworth. You will want to be in the far left lane for turning. You will be turning left on 52nd. Stay in the left hand lane on 52nd and go through the first light as you go down 52nd. Take a left at the next light (Carr) Go about one long block through one intersection and the house will be on the right side. Parking: Go just past the house and park in the Exempla Child Care parking lot which is on the left.

The Long Goodbyes As people get ready to depart, we will no doubt linger in the hotel lobby, talking, hugging and taking last-minute pictures until forced to tear ourselves away ... and start making plans for Toronto in 2000! Invariably, a few folx stay an extra day or two. Find them and have fun!
