Pearson International Airport (YYZ) is served by over 50 scheduled and chartered airlines, including most major US carriers (see a list). Amtrak runs daily trains between Toronto's Union Station (TYO) and both New York City and Chicago. Canadians are served by Via Rail. Various bus lines serve Toronto, including Greyhound.

If anyone will be flying on Air Canada, please be advised that their pilots have voted in favour of a strike. It could start as of Saturday, July 1. Air Canada's regional carriers and Canadian Airlines would still be flying.

Now, for those of you hardy enough to drive in, we have a handy Carpool page! Whether you're looking for a ride, or have space in your car, here's where you can post your ad.

Also, you're going to need to send a bit of information to our Travel Director. The required information is, in no particular order:

• Arrival date and time.
• Departure date and time.
• Your flight/bus/train/handcart/wagon/dogsled info.
• Whether or not you need a ride to and/or from said terminal.

If you're one of the hardy souls that's driving in, however, just send off your ETA to the Travel Director so we don't start panicking or something.

And, if you're going to be having transport, send an email to our Transport Director with this information:

• When you'll be available.
• How many people you can fit into your car, and we mean in seats, people!
• Whether or not those of us with a deep appreciation for the joys of nicotine(That's smokers, y'all.) will be allowed to partake while riding in said transport.  
   
  The following papers are required to enter Canada (courtesy of John Yaskowich: reference):
  • From the United States
     
    Identification to establish your citizenship, such as a birth certificate and at least one identification card with photograph. A passport is ideal but not required. A visa is not required. A naturalized citizen should bring their certificate; a permanent foreign resident must bring their INS green card.
     
     
     
  • From Europe
     
    A valid European passport, a return ticket, and sufficient funds to support yourself and your dependents during your stay.
     
     
     
  • For those travelling with children
     
    Bring identification for each child, as shown above. A letter of permission is required from the child's parents/legal guardian if they are not accompanied by someone with legal custody. Divorced parents with shared custody should bring documents establishing that status.
